What the best way to avoid a scar from a recent stratch from my cat?

I have VERY pale skin and I scar very easy, especially lately for some reason, and my cat scratched me on my chest (ugh), right below my neck...very noticable...and I'm fearing it will leave a scar. What is the best way to pervent to from scarring? It just happend yesterday afternoon, so its a new scratch. So far I've been slathering it in neosporen..or how ever that stuff is spelled.

I have pale skin and have been scratched lots.. never got a scar..

use ALOE VERA - real plant - you can break a leaf off and rub the gel on your scratch.. its natural and 100 % safe...
