basicly a user mb asked question about a 405 not starting on the key with no live to the solenoid, and starts fine when a live is bridged to that connection down on the starter motor,

i wanted to know if you/he found the problem or if any one has had the same and resolved it, ive brought a new starter motor a ignition barrel and the black box bolted to the side of the battery cover that apparently controls the remote live feed none of these have worked please give me advice pleaseeee

you need a test light and follow where the power ends at

first if you run a jumper wire directly to the starter does it start
if no use the test light to verify power at the starter
you can also verify the ground with it
hook the test clip to the positive terminal to test the ground hook it to ground to test the positive

if the starter works wirh the jumper you will need to go back to the next place

get me year make model ill walk you through the rest

you may also have a passive security system i can help you reset it
