So I had a buddy on here who used to have a job. But now he's down an' out because he spends all day on Answers, on his computer, in some ally somewhere. And somehow, he never seems to make any progress in moving up the points level.

I never thought it to be stealing from a cybercafe, of course I don't have a laptop yet. Answers can be addicting as many of you already know. You don't get thousands of points by just dropping by and saying hello. Sooner or later he will do something like get a job. You can't go hungry forever.

Since the cybercafe provides free access it is not stealing, however using the free connection "all day" would--in my view--be abuse of the internet access privileges. Hopefully your friend is paying something for the access.

It sounds like his addiction is costing him plenty in other ways. I like Answers, but would never want to make a career of it.

Oh, man. That would totally suck to hang out in back allies begging for bandwidth just to have your points ripped out with a coat hanger. Badness of luck, I tellya. No, it's not stealing.

No , its not stealing . It is stealing if you sit in your car outside someones house using their wireless router ( but if they dont secure it , its their problem ) but its still stealing
