Can anybody tell me the name of this Tanya Tucker song and where I might be able to find it.
I think it came out in the early to mid 70's.

I don’t know all the words but here’s the chorus:

“Put up the flag, and lay down your weapons, this perpetual battle royal here is a long way from heaven, call it a mistake or call it what ever, or just call it off, better late than never”

Thanks

It's by Tonio K, called "Better Late Than Never", and later covered by Tanya Tucker.

It was the title track from his 1978 album "Life in the Foodchain".

You can buy his album with the original version of the song here:

Better Late Than Never

You might try Amazon.com Music to see if they have it...they do have a lot of Tanya Tucker albums, but I don't know what's on them.

Edit: According to wiki, that song is on Tanya's album "Tear Me Apart"
