It's gotta be the Patriots. THey have one of the best offenses of all time

The Colts will win by at least two touchdowns.
Their margin of victory over a 4-1 team was 22 points.
The Pats let an 0-6 team score 28 points on them.
To the Colts this will be like taking candy from a baby (crybaby Brady).

The Indianapolis Colts don't stand a chance against the New England Patriots this year. The Patriots are on their way to finishing the season off undefeated. The Colts have ways to lose once or twice, but the Patriots will do excellent, maybe even perfect. Let's explain the categories:

QB comparison - Peyton Manning is said to be "the greatest QB in the NFL today" but I say Tom Brady is. I say that unlike Peyton Manning, Tom Brady doesn't choke, but excels under given pressure. He has 3 rings, 2 more than Peyton Manning and 2 Super Bowl MVP awards, 1 more than Peyton Manning. In my opinion, he's also got a much better arm and is brilliant in the playoffs. But even non-Patriot fans can admit that Tom Brady is without a doubt atleast the best QB so far this year. 27 TD's in 7 games, that's 4 more TD's than his full record last year. With this run, Tom is on his way to winning the 2008 NFL MVP award by a landslide and breaking Peyton Manning's 2004 record for most TD's in a season (record 49) while Brady will get 50+.

Offense - The Colts offense has always been considered the best in the NFL. But not this year, oh no, not this year. Sure you could've said that the Colts without a doubt beat the Patriots in offense last year, but you can't say that this year. The Patriot's WR Randy Moss is the leading WR in stats in the NFL currently with 732 receiving yards. Wes Welker has also stepped up to the plate. He or Donte Stallworth, yet another excellent grade A WR on the Patriots are always on the receiving side of a touchdown, when it isn't Moss getting the TD. Kyle Brady has also been making some TD's recently and he'll also be a great TE in the future. New England's got the #1 offense in today's NFL.

Defense - Well so far I guess I can say that the Colts have had a better defense than New England's. But unlike offense, there isn't a huge difference between these two teams' defenses, in fact, only the slightest. The Colts have the 3rd best defense in the NFL, with 269.5 ypg while the Patriots have the 4th best defense in the NFL, with 274.9 ypg. So it's safe to say the Colts beat out the Patriots in defense so far this year, but again, only by the slightest difference.

Special Teams - Even though the Special Teams unit doesn't count for much, I've got to give it to the kickers. They are the most important special teams players on a team so I'm only going to compare them for now.
Colts - Adam Vinatieri with 13 out of 14 FG completed, longest field goal was 39 yards, and 20/22 PAT completed.
Patriots - Stephen Gostowski with 9 out of 10 FG completed, longest field goal was 45 yards, and 36/36 PAT completed.
It's close, but I'm going to have to give it to Stephen Gostowski of the Patriots. Both have missed 1 FG, but Stephen Gostowski's had his longest FG longer than Adam Vinatieri, and Gostowski hasn't missed a PAT in 36 tries, while Vinatieri missed 2 in 22 tries. So the Patriots win the Special Teams unit comparison.

All in all, in total:
QB - Patriots
Offense - Patriots
Defense - Colts
Special Teams - Patriots

You do the math.

The two main factors as to who will win this game....
Payton Manning and Randy Moss!
Payton has got to be able to play error an free game and pretty much match the scores the Patriots put on the board.
Randy Moss isn't just the most important player on the Patriots team because of the balls he catches, but more so because of the limits he puts on defenses when he's on the feild. Now don't get me wrong, Tom Brady is the most valuable player, Moss the most important! Its impossible to double team Moss because of all the other targets Brady has.
One on One, no one is more dangerous than Moss with Brady trowing him the ball! I call Moss the "X" factor on the Patriots team because he makes them almost unstoppable on offense.
The Offensive line of the colts will have to really come to play as well to at least give the colts running backs some room to run and hold those Pats D'Backs at home.
But when all is said and done....Pats pull away in the middle of the third and close it out after a costly turnover by Manning.

34-20....Patriots

I think the Patriots will win. The Colts defense is Ok but not good enough to stop Tom Brady. He has MOss and Stollworth to pass to. PATRIOTS!

the patriots will win, they are a superior team, and better coached.what it will come down to is the colts wont be able to score every time they touch the ball, and the pats will.the colts are a great team, but they wont be able to keep up in the scoring dept.i think the pats will win by 14 points,42 to 28

as much as i hate both team i think it would be a great game.
i think the Pats would win mainly because they are more well rounded. They have got a good Defense and a good Offense. the colts on the other hand are still struggleing on thier denfense

Mgoblue, trust me...the Pats are not thinking about 16-0. Everybody around them is but the Patriots don't pay any attention to that.

As for the game, may the better team win.

I see the Colts, everyone is like 16-0 and they will be overconfident and lose by like a field goal.
