I have a small swollen lump under the skin on my labia minora at the very top. It ISN'T VERY painful, but it does bother me a little. It isn't its a little firm, but not really really hard. It does not have a head, it is not crusty, and it does not have a discharge. It is just kinda like a small lump under the skin....

Could this be a cyst? or....what?

Last November is the last time I had my yearly done and I go again this Nov the 14th. The Gyno ran all test on me took blood samples and everything and I am clear of STD's. And I have only been with one partner for the past 2 years.

Any suggestions?

Probably a pimple or ingrown hair (and, yes, you have hair, there). Don't obsess about it, just ask your doctor when you see her.

I believe we have lymph nodes in that area. If they get sensitive and a little swollen you might have a little infection going on in that general area of your body. Infections drain to the nearest nodes. Does if feel like a hard pea but tender?

I too have had this before, with one partner for 40 years.

I have had success with just Excedrin or aspirin to clear this up.

There is a condition called something like cystic hair follicle where the hair is basically ingrown and forms a cyst.
This is usually painful though. I wouldnt worry. It doesnt sound like an sti, but obviously you will still get it checked.

I had something like that last year, but it actually came to a head. Sounds like a follicle thing to me.

You'll be fine, just show the doc.

this could be minor or it could be major, not something that untrained medical people should answer, you should seek medical attention immediately. it is better to know and have it treated then living in doubt and wonder what it could be. make an appointment with the gyn asap. wish u the best!
