Many people(especially women) nowadays said that "if you believe in equality between men and women you're automatically a feminist" blah..blah..

Well, I believe in equality, but, I'm not a feminist at all. In fact, I don't like feminism. I consider myself just another human being.

feminism is way too bias and women focus. I'm much more about human rights in general

Your thought?

"No" to your question.

"If you believe in equality between men and women you are automatically a feminist" that is true. That is what feminism is. It is how it started. Out of fear from this movement some look at this as being bias. When you have been a part of a system that allows lower pay, less benefits for same work at as much as a 50 to 100% difference you will understand what feminism is. It is not about power it is about equality.

It started long before your time and unless you were the person who stood up and started the movement to say "this is wrong and something needs to be done" you can not possibly understand what it was like before that moment. If you live it you understand it.

Keep your ears and eyes open and one day you will see why one day, one person took a stand that one other person understood.

I would rather be a part of understand rather than judging.

I'm so sick that feminists say "feminism is about equality, blah blah blah". They are stealing that concept from humanism. Perhaps 1st wave feminism was about it, but now, like you said, its unbelievably biased against women, and relies on twisted facts to support their bias (although sometimes it doesn't even rely on anything to support them). They also believe in equal outcome, so they pushed to have lower strengh standards for female firefighters, soldiers and police officers. Note for feminists: Men are biologically better at this jobs due to our muscle mass, so if you wanna become a soldier, make sure you can compete with them, not bypass and get an affirmative action hire (because that´s what it is)
I'm also sick of feminists apologetics saying "Oh, those are the radicals, in fact the ideology is about equality". Sorry, but actions speak louder than words, and, like you always say "oh, thats the radicals making more noise". Yeah, more noise by more actions.

I am a man. my work is one in which few women excel...I believe that there is a difference between men and women...I would want a man shoveling concrete with me and few women would be of much help...sorry, it's a fact of life, a 130 pound person cannot shovel much concrete....but that does not make women less in my eyes, men and women are both human and women do not need to shovel concrete...if women insist that they could be as good at shoveling concrete as me, they are either not an ordinary woman or just fooling themselves. I do not like feminists who insist that women could do anything a man can...if they can prove it....it's not just the ability to be able to shovel concrete all day, its how much concrete you can shovel

Do I treat women nicely even though they cannot shovel concrete....of course...I am a gentleman and I also look at women as human beings...but the inability to shovel concrete does not make women less...besides, I like women anyway. But for feminists to insist that they can do anything a man can is ridiculous. I'm more likely to put a woman above me, in a personal relationship...because life does not revolve around shoveling concrete...I get paid for my muscle and I would hope she respected that.

The only people that say "if you believe in equality between men and women you're automatically a feminist" are usually feminists trying to make you join their side. Propaganda. They actually aren't that many of them. Most people do not call themselves feminists.

I think your question is ludacris.

The definition of "feminist" is "advocate of equality for women". So whether you think so or not, you ARE by definition a feminist. Your opinion matters not, this is a matter of fact.

Maybe you should stop buying into the caricature of feminists created by neocons and actually do some research, eh?

You become a feminist around the point where you are willing to treat them nicely enough to put up with hypocrisy. At that point, you can start getting on the good side of feminists.

it's okay to treat women nicely, but i suppose you would kind of be a feminist if you treated girls nicer than you treat guys
