Porter has been released and he was taken to a hospice facility where they will now attempt to keep him comfortable. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Ya, i saw that on the CNN this morning. My prayers go out to him, his family,friends and I would also like to add for everyone to send out a prayer to the Hospice workers, Their jobs are hard knowing that the people they work with will not be getting any better. Yet they seem to know how to comfort all friends and family in their times of suffering. We were sure glad to have them when my mom,mother in law and father in law passed away some years back. Yes I did. I read it in the news that he had been released to hospice. I think one of the reports said he had lung cancer. It is a sad thing and I think he could really use our prayers now.

Thanks for the info, been wondering how he was. Sorry to hear he is in Hospice, I work in the health care business, so I know what that means. I always enjoyed his show and songs. He is in my thoughts and prayers.
