What are the example of the theme 'within each of us resides a secret lust for power' in the play Macbeth, and can anyone explain to me about this example?

unless this is a quote from the play, which I doubt, someone is forcing his or her theme for Macbeth on the play. the whole play would be the example of its theme. I only have a Ph.D., so your question is too difficult for me.-

An example of this is Lady Macbeth. She acts like a woman would of the time to the outside world, btu secretly she persuaded her husband to do whatever she wanted (ie: killing the king so they could take power and rule scotland).
