"Forgiveness is the cognitive way of letting go, while grief is the emotional way of letting go." - Dr. John Townsend

Cry! Lots of crying is good. Unpleasant but good!
And friends who can be there for you while you grieve. Ones that won't criticize you or tell to get over whatever you're grieving. Ones that can cry with you and love you.

Sometimes we have to walk through the valley of Baca (weeping) before we reach God - that place of peace where all is well. (Ps. 74:6-7)

Time heals nothing but love and walking through the process of letting go (grieving) does.
