Yes, it is batsman friendly especially in the sub continent. In the sub continent, the ball gets softer very quickly, and it gets tough for the batsman to get away, as it gets slower and lower. The timing is not always right when the ball gets softer. The batsman might find it difficult to time it, unless he has been in the crease for a long time in a good form.

The new ball tends to be much more harder, and it comes on to the bat more easily. The batsman can also sight the ball easily because of its new color. The batsman can play on the rise, accelerate quickly towards the innings etc...

So, its more batsman friendly i think. Just my opinion

That depends on the wicket you play,

in the subcontinent where the pitches are dry and dusty the bll looses colour and it becomes hard to sight the ball , though i should agree the old ball reverse swins , it id very much difficult to sight the ball

But in overseasn conditions the pitch is hard and true so it is not that fair to change the ball

but i would say it's a Fair game..

Cheers

I dont think so....... In my view it is more bowler friendly! The ball gathers pace and it definitely swings a lot except for the reverse swing! It is difficult to manage both pace and swing in the last 15 overs!

It may stop reverse swing but the ball will hit the bat harder and also be more clearer for the fielders to see.The ball will still scuff up as well with the fielders throwing it in on the bounce.

C) Can't say

Well, it could turn out good to the batsmen or the bowlers...
One can't really say
But it depends on the type of pitch they are playing on...

none,

when the ball is being changed, batsman has chances to score quick runs but at the same time bowlers has good chances to take some wickets.

therefore, its a fair decision.
