It doesn't surprise me.
Unfortunatley even some quite expensive restaurants employ some unhygenic slobs in the kitchen so, just for once, MacDonald's isn't alone in the grunge stakes.

Take the hint. MacDonald's is thoroughly unhealthy at all times (their so-called healthy food is only a bit less unhealthy than their cheesburgers). If they're adding hair too that should be enough to tell you to steer clear - Always and for ever.

Get your fast food from your local chippy. You can see what's in it; it's fresh cooked, hygenic and not owned by an American multi-national.
Big British chips are also less fatty and salty than the MacDonald's (& BK) skinny "fries".

Also, ironically, deep fried battered fish (as in fish & chips) is actually good for you. It's steamed in the batter casing so it doesn't loose the iron and vitamins. Don't eat the batter if you're on a diet.

I spoke to one of the scientists who worked for the company that make Doc Marten's boots. He told of an experment to test the durability of sole material. The soles of the boots worn by a MacDonald's worker disolved within weeks. Think what the muck's doing to your insides.

This isn't a rant and I have no axe to grind for chippys. I just hate the MacD's of this world for creating a generation of fat slobs. You only have to look at their regulars to see what I mean.

I'm not surprised. I've spoken to a few students who've worked at McDonald's and the hygiene conditions are not respected.
Infact, restaurants, in general, can be dubious except perhaps the most expensive ones.

I could tell you a story that would stop you going out to restaurants for ever ... but I choose not to.

I just quit working at mc donalds last night and the place was disgusting, the oil used to fry the fries and chicken was old and had not been changed in months, id seen other employees drop fish fingers etc on the floor and picked them up to use them, no hairnets what so ever, no washing hands etc, no timers being used. It was disgusting and its put me of Mccy D's altogether.

theres another thing you all should be worried about. during the day they put cooked burgers in a heater, and should only keep it in for 20 mins at the most, and then throw them away. But towards tea time when its not busy anymore they keep all the burgers in there and at times have been in there for a number of hours. so if you go there about tea time, ask for a fresh burger of anything!

I haven't eaten there since seeing a photo in a paper of a deep fried chicken head that found its way into a box of nuggets. I kid you not! I have found another example here...this isn't the original I saw so this is at least a second incident.
