I have Norton Internet Security and Firewall active and updated. When I scan I have the trojan vundo, so I run the symantec removal program to get rid of it. It tells me it's gone, but next time I run a scan, it's there again. I'm not going to any off the wall sites (Yahoo, Walmart, Bestbuy, etc) Where is this trojan coming from and how do I get rid of it once and for all????

Win Anti Virus causes pop-ups. My mom had this virus once, and there would be pop-ups ALL OVER. To fix this go check out http://www.411-spyware.com/remove-trojan-vundo and follow their instructions. You may also want to consider installing some kind of pop up blocker. I hope this helps. Good Luck

Vundo is a nasty little thing that keeps installing itself even after a scan removes it. Check out the documentation on Symantec's site for permanent removal:

You are infected with other things norton can not detect. You need to run more antispyware scans. You can download free antispyware programs from download.com. I would suggest you download SuperAntispyware. You also should run some online scans to like trend micro housecall.

yeah hundreds of viruses come from limewire downloads... they'd also be duplicating themselves (copying and downloading more suitable viruses onto your pc). My advice should be to delete limewire and commence procuring your track. heavily. make effective you've a sturdy anti-virus, which actually would not be norton. once you've AVG, i recommend you get Avira. I used AVG for type of a year and a 0.5 and in simple terms switched to Avira. It chanced on viruses that AVG couldn't locate.. Do an entire test on your computing gadget, and Avira might want to %. up the viruses. spyware 2008 and Spybot search for and ruin are sturdy anti-spywares... secret agent ware blaster is likewise sturdy because it blocks secret agent ware from entering your computing gadget contained in the first position... by the way, please do no longer use Norton Anti-Virus! it really is in simple terms.. undesirable.
