Noah Andrew is my favourite combo, but if I had to pick one of these two, I'd say Noah Lathem.
I am embarrassed to admit the first thing I thought of was my 3 year old son Cody's fave Wiggles tune. I'll sing it to you --- Here goes..."A long, long time ago, as all you folks should know, Uncle Noah built himself an Ark........that's a boat folks". Now I can't stop. Darn it, it's stuck again!
And I just got "Toot toot, Chugga chugga, Big Red Car out of my head! DID being the operative word here. I'll be reciting the whole album to you soon........
Noah seems like a kind, gentle, non-judgmental, peaceful, animal loving Humanitarian type - I don't think I need to explain why, after my little rendition there! Uh Oh, here comes another verse. Don't worry, I'll sing it in my head and spare you from another outburst of Baby bop beats...
Jared. Hmmm....No. Reminds me of this Guy I used to know way back in Primary School. Funny how we do that actually! He was a bit of a larikan, pretty rough around the edges, a bully an under-achiever. A rebel without a cause, if you like.
I prefer the Saint-like association to the Sinner-type personally, but this is purely based on my own past associatons with the name. Don't worry - Your little man won't turn out like this Jared, I'm sure (if you decide on the name Jared in the end.)
I've always liked Andrew though. Again, another association, but this time a Positive one. I've never met an dislikeable Andrew in my life. And I've come across quite a few Andrews in my 27 years...
Lathem. I'm not quite sure. Ambivealant, I guess. It's not a name I've heard much of. I do like the fact that it isn't so common though. It's nice to deviate from the "norm" and dare to be be different. Set's them apart from all the Brad's and John's out there, after all....
Good luck with it all! You'll know within yourself, when the perfect name for your little man reveals itself, (if you don't choose either of these.) It took me so long to decide on my 3. It's a very important, very difficult, and very fun and exciting task though isn't it?! (-:

I like Jared Andrew better by far. In my opinion, when I hear the name Noah, I think of the perfect little kid, who never breaks any rules. But Jared, is like the cool kid. A preppy teenage boy, who has it all, friends, good grades and everything. Both Noah, and Jared are not very common names, and they are both pretty nice. I hope things work out! Good luck!

Noah Lathem- I think of a smart and cute little bookish boy who likes to climb trees, maybe when he is older he will get skiiing or one of those individual sports.
Jared Andrew- I think of a very hot guy on campus. Maybe a basketball player, or even a skateboarder.
I personally like the name Jared Andrew better

I personally, do not like either of those names, but if i had to choose, i would chose Jared.
I have in-fact never come across a boy called Noah and only one boy called Jared.
As soon as i hear the name Noah, i instantly think of Noah's Ark.

I like Jared Andrew better because it sounds more like a tough but cool guy-- not a wimp. I think Jared would be a smart jock and would be the guy who got all the girls. Noah would be more of a book worm and would not enjoy physical sports like basketball and football. He would have friends that are girls but no one would consider him boyfriend material. Noah also seems like a gothic/punk name to me even thought it's religiou.

Noah Lathem.
Jared Andrew is fine, but I think Jared is a little dated. And, for me, still linked with the "I lost 100 pounds on Subway" fellow.
Noah is a little fresher, a little more current. And Lathem is a strong middle name - is it a family name? I like it quite a bit.
