Also, i do not speak german and i keep looking for casting calls around the area but no luck. have barely any experience and little money to travel. Does distance matter? I've been told to send a resume to directors is that a good idea?

Try and get as short CD made. Let someone shoot a video of you doing some stuff, and send it off to an English speaking Country. To an Agent.

You will have to be an English speaking actress in Germany until you can emigrate to an English speaking country. Sending your resume to directors in other countries is a waste of time and postage.

Yes, distance matters. You have to live in the same country you want to act in. How will you audition otherwise?
