Hello.Just over four weeks ago,I had chest pains in which it felt like someone had punched me in the chest and left their fist there.Gradually, the pains worsened and I called an ambulance for myself. I was taken to hospital, given the best of care in both A&E and after admission. I was kept in for 15 hours and discharged. I hadn't had a heart attack,but it is likely I had the early onset on angina. Since coming out,I have started a long-term change of eating lifestyle (not a diet) and my efforts to lose weight are now beginning to show.I have many months of this to go in order for me to get down to my ideal weight.
I am thankful that a wake-up call of what could have been my first heart attack,but which thankfully wasn't,and probably might have been my last,has made me realise that my eating habits had to change for all time. The fact that death really is only a heartbeat away,has stung me into action to lose weight and change such habits. I hope that,by end of December 2008,I will be down to a 'normal' weight for the first time in living memory.
Life has suddenly become VERY precious now.
That's what I'm thankful for.

i'm thankfull for being given the chance of life. One sperm out of a whole load of millions- God could have chosen any other one to be the one but he chose me (and you) YAY!!
