go to a body shop and ask if you can borrow there color book get down to your top 3 color choices and record the manufacture and numbers, now print a few pictures of your car [it doen't have to be on photo stock] now go to the dealer whose color you chose and purchase the numbered touch up paint and use it to paint the printed picture
note my daughter did this for a car that i built for her and came up with a color that niether of us would have otherwise picked, the car is beautiful, striking at first glance and makes you want to see it up close but classy enough that you won't dare touch the paint

Are you doing it yourself, or going to a place like Maaco? If you are going to a professional paint service, they might have color swatches for you to look at.

take a pic with a digital camera, upload it to your pc and use paint brush program to change the color

take pic use photo imaging software to edit pic. its same concept pretty much as using paint...just a little easier (I think anyway)
