Raphael is the first of the 4 Great Archangels
And Master of the Powers of Light.
Raphael touches the mind and the thoughts, for he is the bringer of Faith, and his sword represents the notion of Peace inspite of a troubled world - as in just the same way we may wake after a restless night and see things in a different light, giving us Faith that everything will turn out all right.with the birth of a new day.The sword cuts away the debris from our minds, and it also represents our mental will to overcome. It is not a symbol of attack, but only protection. Raphael is often seen with the image of Aquarius embroidered on his breast, which indicates insight and truth, everlasting life, and the eternal belief in all humanity.
The sword of Raphael is the Sword of Peace, and lies at the end of the Rainbow Bridge of Faith between God and Man.

Archangels are found in a number of religious traditions, including Islam, Judaism and Zoroastrianism. In Biblical Christianity, the only archangel ever clearly named as being of the order is Michael.

Michael. Other meanings are "Who is like to God?" and "Who is like God?" The explanation for this rather unusual meaning is that Archangel Michael led the armies of heaven against the armies of hell in a massive battle that took place before the Biblical creation. The battle cry was "Who is like to God?" and that became the meaning of his name.

Mika-El (Michael) means "who is like God" I will add an addendum to the response that is previous to mine : Jehovah Witnesses, specifically (not Catholics or Protestants generally) believe that Jesus is the incarnation of the Archangel Michael. I am not a Jehovah Witness, but mythologically speaking, I kind of like the idea--but it only makes sense if you understand the underlying mythology and esoteric symbolism of Michael (and of Jesus, too, the "solar deity" of paganism, and the "redemptive principle").
Although angels are occasionally mentioned in the Bible, most information about angel lore does not come from the Bible but from other writings, such as the Book of Enoch, which once was but is not part of the regular Bible, and other "unofficial" scripture and also magical and mystical texts from Hebrew lore and from magical mystics and theologians of the middle ages.

Micha-el, for sure. Gabri-el was the messenger to Mary, Joseph, and her father, maybe to Abraham at the sacrifice altar. But Michael is the one who drove Adam & Eve out, and appeared to Joshua, and who commands God's hosts.
