a private school that keeps losing kids
if you were the admistrator would you not try to find the real reason why and fix the problem and how many would a school have to lose in order to close its doors or start to fire teachers
do you think i should start looking for a new job or wait it out

If I were the schools administrator, I would ask the parents of the students who are being withdrawn from the school if they'd be willing to discuss the reasons for leaving, or at the very least, ask them to fill out a questionairre.

That being said, it's never a bad idea to look for more opportunities elsewhere, even when you're comfortable with your job, there's a chance you could be doing better elswhere. I think the mass exodus could foreshadow the need for action in the near future, so you may as well get a head start before you're competing against your current co-workers for a job.

Maybe they are losing students because maybe they no longer want to go to that type of school or cannot afford it. If you think you will be looking for a job soon then look around so you will have a back up

Better start looking for a new job. It doesn't sound like anyone is interested in fixing the old problems.

Start looking for a new job, the administration doesn't seem to care.

I would look at the reasons the parents gave for removing their kids...there may be a hint there....if not then theres not much you can do...you are not authorised to do spot checks or anything.
