Meow!!! My ever hungry and very demanding Grey tomcat wouldn't just call me by my first name. He'd call me by first name, middle name AND surname - Where's (first), My (middle) Bickies? (surname).

He'd say "Where's my Bickies"? in a posh, matter of fact manner. So in theory, he has named me after his favourite request. Cheeky, I know.

He likes to pretend he an Ariosto-cat. Not just the grey Tom he really is. First name basis is simply too informal for him.

I also think he believes I'll take more notice if he copies my Mum's technique. For some reason, whipping out the middle, and last name points to the fact, she really means business! And there is no business like Cat-biscuits when it comes to this pushy Puss.

cats are notorious for selective hearing. All of mine will from time to time not respond from calling their names but they all know their names. My poor dog has always been around cats so she has some of the same behaviors. The smartness factor is bigger in cats I think although both breeds have some better qualities than the other. Ask a cat lover or a dog lover who is smartest and they will go with what they love best. Cats survive longer and better on their own than dogs but dogs are better protectors. Both have wonderful personalities and are perfect companions to humans

Daddy would probably be "Frisbee!". Mommy would be "No bite".
