Guys we here in the United States have been racing under the lights forever. Im not sure why all you guys are concerned with the lighting. It should be a great race.

Well, it will be very interesting. SO far all races have been staged during the day. I'm a bit curious as how it will all turn out. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport and therefore need to set a standard for others to follow. If the night race in Singapore is successful then a few more should follow.

We've had a desert race so maybe a race in extremely cold weather could be next.

The first night race will be a completely new challenge for the drivers and I'm looking forward to it!Presuming nothing goes wrong with the lights or anything...

P.S Probably they would think of racing in the snow! Or most probably back to racing in America again... it was a huge market for manufacturer teams.I think Bernie didn't think of that...

Edit:I just hope we could see the cars properly on T.V!

P.P.S I don't live in America! : )

It'll be interesting. It's really more to do with the time it's broadcast in europe since most F1 fans are from there. I just hope they prepare for it properly, i'd hate to see a race cancelled just because someone forgot to pay the track electricity bills.

It will certainly be interesting but I'm a little concerned about how the lighting will affect shadows and such especially on a street circuit.

It rains a lot in Singapore....wet and lit track would be very dangerous....I hope nothing bad happens so they won't reverse their decision to run races at night.....

Can't wait to see how it'll be. It will be interesting to see how the drivers adapt themselves to the different race track conditions and temperature.
