Often true, often not. When it is true one has crossed over that gentle tide where the object of their affection has revealed more flaws than charms. This is the proverbial "red ink" in the book of love and an excellent time to hit the road. On the other hand the equation works just the other way and time reveals many more qualities thus giving the overall charm quotient a big black bonus profit that can and usually does lead to a healthy sustainable relationship. Hope you're in the black. Good ponderance. m

I have to agree. Even though a person may seem charming right off the bat, in time you may see through their subterfuge.
Some, in time , you grow to see their special charms. Truth sometimes takes longer to see.
I Agree

I'm just a regular joe
With a regular job
I'm your average white
Suburbanite slob
I like football, and porno, and books about war
I've got an average house
With a nice hardwood floor
My wife, and my job
My kids, and my car
My feet on my table
And a Cuban cigar
But sometimes that just ain't enough
To keep a man like me interested
Oh no, no way, uh uhh
No, I gotta go out and have fun
At someone else's expense
Oh yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I drive really slow
In the ultra-fast lane
While people behind me are going insane

I agree because charming is relative. You cannot charm everyone in the same degree.

a lot like..."Familiarity breeds contempt."
It's common human behavior; No more watching
your P's and Q's the more you get to know someone.
But that's not always the case.
