"A Halloween Story"

The townsfolk were all a' flutter getting ready for the upcoming Halloween Party. Festus was in charge of putting up the streamers, Matt promised he would teach everyone the latest dance, " Two Step Polly Catch A Dido Rum" and Sunshine was to book the band that would be playing. When she discovered that (5) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was available, she shreiked with delight!! They'd been going in and out of style but were still guaranteed to raise a smile.
Sunshine readily signed the contract with their manager Brian Epsteinpadoodle.

She was so excited about sealing the deal, she came riding into town, full gallop, to spread the news!! Miss Kitty happened to be crossing Front Street at the very moment Sunshine stormed into town. In her mad dash to escape certain injury, she fell sideways, landing in a freshly dropped pile of horse poo poo !! Sunshine roared with laughter as she helped her to her feet. Kitty angerly pushed her away as she retrieved her false eyelash which had become dislodged in the excitement. Stuck to her upper lip, it gave her the look of Adophone (S)Hitler, the manical,murderous outlaw that had terrorized this region, back in the Gold Rush days.
Kitty grabbed the eyelash and faced Sunshine......"YOU IDIOT!!!! (2) You're The Hangnail In My Life, And I Can't Bite You Off !! But SOME day, yes SOME DAY, I will pay you back for all the misery you have brought to my life !!!"
Sunshine just smiled and chirped, "Okay. See ya later,
(4.) Bird Dog ," as she ran into the out-stretched arms of Marshal Dillon, who had just strolled up. Matt grabbed her, kissed her passionately and took off his hat, yelling "(6) Put Your Arms Around Me, Honey!!! Let's skip lunch and go home for a little (8)Afternoon Delight."
Miss Kitty turned to Doc dejectly, and said, " I swear....(3) Redneck Martians Stole My Baby and messed with his brain!!!!!! And that HORRIBLE HILLBILLY is (1) The Leader of The Pack!!!"
As Kitty started back toward the Long Branch, Doc called out, "Maybe you should get a pet. You know.....Have something to love and nuture."
Kitty fired back, "Nawwwwww. (7) I’m Living Alone And I Like It !!"

As the big night approached, the excitement in town grew.
Pumpkins were carved,streamers were hung and to top it off...... A cold North wind was a' blowin', hard and furious. It sounded like lovelorn banchees, as it torn through the Wild West town of Dodge City!! It added to the party spirit.
(9) "With a Little Luck , we may even git old Doc to tell some of his ghost stories," chortled Festus. Matt smiled as he finished off his beer and got up from the table.
Festus:"Hey!! Where're you a' goin', Matthew ?"
Matt:" I need to get home and change into my costume. I'll see you later, Festus....(10) At The Hop.
