Ok what would your reaction be if a guy told you they loved you when you just got out of a long term relation ship (1.5-2years)

Both actually did happened to me. The guy just waited til I healed and then we got together. We're still together, it's been 1.25 year.

for starters.... if you never knew he liked you I'm sure it came as a shock...then add the love thing... wow... I'd tell him if he really cares.. that you need some time to get your head straight and make sure your heart is in the right place for you to ever consider him as relationship material. And that if he cares so much he will wait. Be friends with him and get to know eachother better if you like... be leave it at that.. nothing more until you feel ready.

all that matters would be if i liked him or not and if i knew him. If i do have interest, then why not take a chance. if I don't even know him in the first place, that would be creepy.

If a guy said to me he liked me, that would be interesting. If a guy said to me he loved me just "like that", it would be weird and I would probably stay away from him.

it depends whether you like them or not, i mean if you don't then your reaction would be no and vice versa
personally, if i did like them i'd say can we leave it a while or i'll feel uncomfortable, and if i didn't like them i'd say i'd think about it and then say it would just feel too wierd so i didn't hurt their feelings :)
