yes, 5 years ago I met a man who I fell for in a big way, we got together, we broke up 7 months later. We did actually remain really good friends and saw each other through a lot of tough times, we got back together eventually after causing each other so much grief and heartache and now have a strong relationship and gorgeous 2 year old daughter

Yes. Unfortunately, I was disappointed, but not because of who they were; because of what I expected. Dating on the Internet is not the strange, surreal ethereal place people try and make it out to be; it's just another means to an end. If you have the skills to deal with people in real life that you're supposed to possess, you can deal with online personalities the same way you would in a bar, train or park...it's all about being in control and not limiting your options because you're afraid to be hurt. Hell, you can get run over by a passing truck!

Yes, I have met someone over the net, but I have yet to meet him in person. I'm 100000000% sure he's who he says he is so no worries for me ^_^

I have... we started the relationship online and then met... and continued our relationship... the only thing I have to say... is becareful with online to real life relationships....because if he met you on the net... just imagine how many other girls their might be on his friends list that hes just hoping to hook up with as well. sorry if that sounds mean...but just becareful....the internet is a horrible place to meet people....its full of infedelity, lies and false hope.

yeh one of very good friend did.. met in the net than met in person despite of living in two different continent and they had an affair for last five years..
