Just like humans, when they get hungry they eat. Over a period, this daily tasks will be timed naturally. Not all humans take their say lunch at the same time, they take their meal at a time when they feel they can stomach it. Some people take their lunch at 12.00pm, 1.00pm and even 3.00pm ( if you still call it a lunch ) The same goes to animals. By the way why do want to know about this thing ??????

Animals don't have a concept of set meals with names. In nature, they hunt or forage when they are hungry and eat when they find something (except in the case of rodents and some corvids, which will hide their food for later). For Domestic animals, it's a matter of habituation. Your cat doesn't know breakfast or dinner, it knows that you feed it in the morning, and that you feed it again at night. If you leave food out for you pet 24/7, then they slip into a more natural routine.

they don't. they just hunt or gather and eat when they can find food. it's different for all animals. bears collect nuts and berries in the fall to eat to they won't starve when they hibernate in the winter. birds spend most of their time making nests, mating or eating so basically a large portion of their life is devoted to feeding themselves and their offspring. Lions can go days without eating if the hunt isn't good because there is a surplus of grass for the deer or bison to eat. Actually come to think of it, i think lions spend about all of their lives hunting for food because 9 out of 10 times, they end up failing to catch their prey. so for them, eating is a thing done maybe every other day.

In the wild..they hunt at certain times. They know when the prey is available. Domestic animals eat when we do. We have trained them for that.

when you need to eat, your body lets you know, right? same with animals. I think their stomach lets them know just like yours does.
