Without knowing the brand of the flea powder and it's ingredients it's impossible to know. I would never use a product on any of my dogs that is not intended for dogs.

YES IT COULD! Don't even think about it.

Don't even bother using flea powder on the floor, because it doesn't work. Nothing from a pet store does. Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the proper chemicals for flea treatment - anything you find in store is just going to be a basic pesticide that you can't expect to work.

Please go in to a vets for some proper advice and treatment, and never EVER use a flea treatment, or any other medication other than the way it's directed.

Yes. Dogs under a certain weight shouldn't be exposed to flea killing products, as it can poison them. Do not use a product not meant for the animal, on the animal. Go to a clinic and purchase flea medication meant for a dog of his age and weight.

yes, i'm pretty sure it's not recommended. However, I would call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Hotline. Their number is: (888) 426-4435
