Ok I think the best answer would be that in family homes, the women are mostly the ones who cook but some men do the cooking once in a while ...
However, on picnics and outdoor gatherings mostly men do the cooking. Also, in restaurants men are usually the cooks.

Yes, both men and women can cook. But usually the maids cook!
I can cook everything, my husband likes me to cook Kabsa and shish kabobs the most! I eat anything he wants bc when I cook its for him. Also, my husband is a very bad cook so I would rather cook then have the mess and be grossed out, lol

Im SAudi-American... I cook as well as my husband.. He cooks a mean Kabsa... Also if Im just too tired to get up, he makes his own breakfast of fried eggs and toast...
I am of the old american school of NO housemaids.. I do it all myself.. So I do most of the cooking. My family likes all kinds, from Saudi traditional foods, to indian, to chinese, american, there favorite, believe it or not is mexican foods (tex-mex).. since I spent a lot of time in Texas growing up.. I know the tex-mex dishes... my family loves it...

No the women cook the food in Saudi Arabia. The mother cooks food for her children, and the sons wives and daughters cook food for their husband and brothers.
2)I can cook Kabbsa and tachuccia. I can also cook Hamburgers, chicken nuggets, waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, hot dogs, Spagetti, Steak, Mac N cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, french fries, baked potatoes, corn, brownies, toast.

Yes they do and i have seen some of them do the chores.
I like our native food and pasta and i cooked those too.
