is it a steak? here is a recipe for london broil
score 1 pound flank steak ; place in a shallow glass baking dish. Pour 1/2 cup italian dressing on steak . cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours,.turning meat occasionally
Remove steak , reserve dressing. Set oven to broil or 550 degrees. Broil steak with top 3 to 4 inches from heat until medium rare, about 4 minutes on each side, brushing with reserved dressing several times. cut meat across grain at a slanted angle into thin slices. Makes generous slices.

with the shrimp i would either put them in a salad or i would make shrimp cocktails with them;

Hopefully, you can grill the London Broil; otherwise, I would broil it. Here's a marinade for it:
Marinade for Steak, pork or chicken (also good on veggies)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 - 3 Tbs. brown sugar
2 Tbs. ketchup
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Combine all in a jar & shake well. Keep refrigerated.

You can marinate the beef from 2 to 36 hours to tenderize and flavor the meat.

I'd use some wood/bamboo skewers that have been soaked for at least 30 minutes in water and put the shrimp on the skewers and grill or broil to go along with the beef. You might want a cocktail sauce for the shrimp.

A nice spinach salad and some potatoes or rice would round out the meal. If you don't want potatoes or rice, add a nice steamed vegetable with or without a sauce (maybe broccoli or cauliflower with cheese sauce).

Enjoy your dinner! Don't forget a nice wine also!

London Broil

Shredded Beef Tacos
-Throw one taco seasonings packet, two tablespoons of either sherry vinegar or red wine vinegar, and one small can of diced green chiles into crock pot.
-Stir.
-add one 2.5'ish pound London Broil. (cut of beef)
-spoon chile mixture over beef.
-cook until the meat falls apart easily with a fork (about 8-10 hours).
-Take beef out, spend about 30 seconds 'shredding' it with a fork or two.
Serve with taco shells or tortillas, sour cream, package of grated cheese, chopped lettuce, salsa, whatever you like!

Shrimp
Why not do a simple shrimp cocktail
