I would just ignore him, although it is difficult. If you talk to him he is getting at least part of what he wanted so he will keep trying. My cat does the same. Also my cat scratches the door to get my attention. If yours does that you lean something like a cardboard on the bottom of the door. Yes it is amazing how smart they are.

I take my cat out to explore the yard on a leash. I was told to have a schedule so that the cat knew when to expect to go out, they like their routines. This way she's less likely to cry to go outside at other times. I work from home so my spoiled princess gets to go out once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
She does try sometimes to get an extra walk in, and I look at her and tell her 'it's not time yet'. I also use that phrase when she starts hanging out by her food drawer too! She knows I mean no so she kind of sighs and walks away.
So, I'd say tell the cat no and then ignore it. You've given it some attention which it wanted but you have to let it know that the crying to go out the door won't work.

If I recall correctly, Himalayans were bred from Siamese cats, which are famous for being very vocal. It sounds like your cat also has this trait. Some people love having such vocal cats while others find it annoying.

Can you just open the window a little so it can get some fresh air? Maybe that will make it happy. You might try talking to it or playing with it. One of my cats jumps up and turns the door knob when it wants to go out. Another will say "Water" when it wants me to turn on the faucet so it can drink. He also has said "out." Of course, I keep saying the word until he makes the similar sound. Need to record it some day.

Cats have a variety of ways to communicate. Most of these whines or groans are different forms of "meows". It could be that he wants your attention and affection and petting. Sometimes it could be that it wants food/drink, or the box is dirty and he is complaining about it. Other times, it could be that something is bothering him, or is making him anxious and might need to be investigated. Try this link to find out more:

in the journey that your mom or dad died...does not you cry too? This cat desires various affection. It in all probability is very insecure not understanding why it quite is proprietor left her. do not bypass away it out at night and make beneficial she is familiar with you're actually not likely to bypass away her too. Cats are like babies. they want love and a few degree of risk-free practices. you may desire to could desire to stay with the crying for awhile, yet finally the cat will end. Put a harness and a leash on him and the two of you go for a walk. You can talk with each other on your walk.
