My friend is a little crazy and he's about to get his driver's license. When he gets his driver's license and lets say he hits into a cone, and a cop sees him what will happen. He is over 18 years old. We live in Ohio.

Your friend is either going to pass the driving test, or fail. It's a whole course, not just one cone.
Edit. I really don't understand what the cone is all about, unless you're referring to lane markers. I'd be more concerned about him striking something else.

It depends... you can only usually miss a fixed number of points on the physical driving test. I don't think he would fail for just hitting one cone, but I'm sure he would get some points taken off his final score.

OK, I see what you're saying now... It really depends on the cop and where he hits the cone... The cop could either do nothing, give him a warning, or give him a citation. There's no definite answer. People hit cones all the time, I'm sure if he was obeying the traffic laws and didn't hurt anyone or any property and just explained to the officer that it was an accident, the cop would probably let him go with a warning to try & be more careful.

well if he already did this and doesnt have a license he would get operatingn w/o valid DL ..but you are saying IF he does this after he gets his DL..so yea the cop will see what the heck your friend was doing..he/she could give him a ticket for inattentive driving or crossing the line ..not sure where this cone is in your hypothetical question lol. but the cop may also just let it slide saying be more careful but it could be something more than a cone next time.

Be careful rollin' with that guy!
Say a cop sees him hit a cone. He gets stopped, you all get checked out for IDs, pot, alcohol, warrants, whatever, and you have a good chance of winding up in a jackpot.
Anything like hitting a cone is probable cause for a cop to stop the car and figure out what is going on.
Keep hanging with this mook; you'll find out.

shoot, i used to like to drive along while my bud grabbed the construction cones and tossed them in the back of my truck. beer was always cold and it was great fun.

then there was jousting. thats where we would get a big ol' pvc pipe, (stolen off some construction site...thats a different story), and drive along knocking down mail boxes. it requires one in the front to hold pipe and another in back to steer pipe and a driver....those cones aint no problemo amigo!
