I have a little over 75,000 miles on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Is that a lot for this vehicle? How can I keep it going another 75,000 miles.

No! 75,000 miles is not alot for your vehicle, actually thats considered low miles for that year. You can go to www.kellybluebook.com to look up details about the mileage and what your vehicle is worth. As far as getting the most mileage out of your vehicle, Just make sure you keep it serviced often. But most importantly, make sure you keep the oil changed at least every 3,000 miles, cause that's the life of your car. As for me, i own a 2000 jeep laredo v8 fully loaded with 144,000miles. I have owned it for 2 yrs. It has been a realy good vehicle for me up until a few days ago. Anyway, i started experiencing some electrical problems maybe computer going out, but things like that are to be expected. I realy can't complain ,cause it still looks and drives like a new one. Overall, i still love it!!!

95 Ford Taurus - 98,000 miles

00 Ford Ranger 4x4 - 13,600 miles. That's not a typo. Bought it 2 months ago with only 11,300 miles on it. Previous owner bought it new just to drive in bad weather.

06 Ford Mustang - 8800 miles

75,000 miles is not a lot for a vehicle 7 years old. Keep the oil changed regularly and have any recommended maintenance done and you should get another 75,000 easily.

i have a 2002 Jeep Cherokee limited with a V8 and about 30020 miles (received from a family member that used it regular but not Evey day). and my dad has a 2000 Chrysler cirrus V6 with 78323 miles.
i dint think its about sounds about right if it was used daily to get around. change the oil and everything when is need and up to maininces, also if u have the Manuel that came with the jeep it tells you what is need Evey how many years or miles and it helps that's what i use for the majority of things but i change the oil Evey 3000 miles or three month and check the fluids every month.

I have a 90 Dodge Ram 3500 CTD 4x4 for my runs to get firewood or haul garbage to the dump has alittle over 345,000 miles and still ticking. The body on my 90 Ram is a little rough on the edges but the motor and tranny is going strong. I will be keeping till it dies!

My 04 CTD I have alittle over 100,000 miles and nothing has gone wrong since owning it! Our 08 Jeep Wrangler well it's a little baby right now has 3000 miles on it, bought it as a demo and saved a few thousand! My SRT Magnum only has 10,000 miles only drive it during the nice days!

If you do your regular maintenance at recommend intervals such as
oil,
filter(s) (fuel, air, tranny & oil)
tranny fluid
rear & front diff fluids
and anti freeze/coolant regularly you will have a car for basically life until you grow tired of it!

I have a 98 Infinity Q45 with 175K miles. It doesn't smoke, drink and stays home at night. I keep the maintenance up on the car, oil changes, trans fluid changed, etc. Keep up the maintenance on your car & it should last a long while. I have many friends that have $500 to $700 monthly car notes & I don't have a monthly payment. I recently put $2500 into repairs, but that is still less than they pay for their cars. Maintain the Jeep and it should last.

I have about 550 miles on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I just bought it a little over 2 weeks ago.

I have had cars in the past with over 200,000 miles on them. I never got rid of them for mechanical problems. Just wanted something different, or hit a deer and totaled it, or something along those lines. Just keep up the maintenance on them, and they last a long, long time.

2008 Jeep Patriot almost 3,000 miles on it.

That doesn't seem like a lot for the year. That's a little over 10,000 miles a year. If you keep up on your oil changes and all that good stuff you can probably drive it forever.
