After almost two years of struggling with that, i finally decided to go back to Catholic church for one day only to see how i felt, and i gotta say after that day i felt different and felt that all of my problems were just lifted off of my shoulders, and that's when i realize that i have to be back in Catjholic church....

what? Catholicism is the original Christian Church, so what are you saying "after being baptized as Christian"?

Catholic IS Christian last time I checked, so when you establish the difference between the two, there must be less of a difference than you think! And yes, I believe that you can return to the Catholic church! After all, does it mean something different if you are baptized under one denomination or another? No!!! I hope you are very happy at your church and God bless!

Being baptized - as a choice which you would have done in the non-Catholic church, is great. You have made the choice yourself before God. If you were baptized as a baby in the the Catholic Church, they see it as you are Catholic forever - being baptized afterwards in another Faith does not change the original acceptance into the Catholic faith. If however you have never been baptized a Catholic, then you would have to go through their programme of becoming one. I assume though, that if your family used to attend church, they would probably have had you baptized when you were a baby.

You have not mentioned anything about salvation, but only baptism which does not save you then I really don't know where you are spiritually, but seek the Lord and ask Him to help you know the truth because Catholicism is not it. You are more concerned about your feelings than truth it seems. Maybe you were in the wrong Christian church. Every church is not for everybody. Don't let Satan deceive you because feelings change often and he uses feelings to fool people. I hope you find the truth because that is what you need.

Whose name were you baptized into? Martin Luther? Pope Benedict? Or Christ. If you were baptized as a Christian, you can attend any church that dutifully serves Christ. I believe the Catholic Church is a Christian church. So whether you attend a Protestant or Catholic church, I still consider them both Christian.

It is never wrong to return to the Catholic Church.

Just start going to Mass.

You will probably want to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) before receiving the Eucharist (Holy Communion).

Tell the priest your story and ask him for advice in what to do next.

Welcome home.

With love and prayers in Christ.

it is deffinetly wrong to go back to the catholic church, you see the papacy or the catholic church is replacing jesus with the pope and mary, the mass is an abomination unto god and u cannot confess your sins to a priest he is just a man.

i am a seventh day adventist and i believe that the pope is the beast power which is the little horn in revelation.

hope this helps u

Yes, it's okay, but your priest will expect you to make a Profession of Faith. He may or may not require you to take the RCIA class beforehand to provide the Catholic education you missed when you were growing up. And, of course, you have to go to confession since you probably haven't been doing that.

Call the priest and chat with him about returning to the Church. Welcome back!

The baptism you received as a Catholic is enough for them all. There was no need to be baptized "Christian". You already were.

No, it's not wrong, it's right! You've returned home to the holy church that Christ formed and gave to his apostles.

Baptized christians are brothers and sisters. We're all part of the body of Christ.
