Secular means simply not-related to religion. Most of the things you do are probably considered secular.
Atheistic is of the mindset that God does not exist. Things that are atheistic either believe God does not exist or are preaching that God does not exist.
Very big difference.

A secular person does not deny the existence of God. He may be a firm believer in God and deeply spiritual but for him religion does not have any importance in his daily affairs. He does not differentiate between individuals on the basis of their religious beliefs. For him all individuals are the same whether they are Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Jews etc.

An atheist is a person who denies the existence of God. For him no higher power or divinity exists. Therefore for a truly atheistic person, religious boundaries should not exist - for him also all individuals should be the same irrespective of their religious beliefs, like a secular person. But unlike a secular person who may or may not believe in God , an atheist is of the view that there is no God.

Secular means without religion while atheistic means without belief in a god being.

Secular organisations (such as the governments of every decent country) often have religious members but for the purposes of the organisation they have to ignore their nonsense.

Secular is world-centered. Atheistic?? who knows? Although in R&S, they spend an awful lot of time discussing a God they claim not to believe in.

Atheist specifically denies the existence of God. Secular ignores the question, focusing exclusively on "worldly" maters.
