Any religion that has so much racism and hatred can`t really be of God. They are only loving inside the four walls of their church.

correction.

Christianity as a group is NOT loving. Their teaching did taught love, but whether the followers agrees to do it or not, is their choice. Like any religion, some people will use it to further their personal benefit.

Racism and hatred is not their monopoly, but it has a noticeable manifestation in christianity, yes.

Angry and bigoted? Not all of them. Only those who assumed that they speak for their religion, and only when their belief is challenged by words or things.

One of the things I find distasteful about christianity as a religion is their tendency to produce "crusader / witch-hunting / martyr" mentality in their followers against anything outside their comfort zone.

A kind of "selective love", if you will.

It is a most unfortunate failing, yet probably the reason they are so successful.

Ans you know this because-------------- (fill in the blank) What church is racist? I'm Lutheran and no Lutheran church that I know of is racist. There might be bigoted people in a church but I don't think there are bigoted Church's. Is the Republican party a bigoted party, are the Democrats?? Not really,. If they were, they wouldn't get elected. They might have bigot members but the party itself isn't bigoted. It's the same way with all of society. Not just Church's.

You are lumping all Christians together by saying "why are they ALL". I am not an angry person. I get mad just like everyone else, but in general I am not angry, nor am I a bigot. I am a sinner just like everyone else. I am not perfect, and I am deserving of death, which is the punishment for sin. I will not and never will deny that. I am NOT a racist. I don't hate people of different religions, races, nor am I racist against those with different sexual preferences. God doesn't hate anyone, nor is God a racist. You didn't elaborate on that at all.

We have the Reached the sumit of humanity, by us a ccepting the sacrifice that God has given us in His Son Jesus we have been completed. It is by the grace of God that this has been done, all we did was accept the gift of love that He has offerd us. though many have come there is still room for one, there is room at the cross for you. It is religion that has done all these things that you mentioned not God. God is the fountain of love, & there is enough for all humanity, so come to the well & drink of the water. Amen!!!!!!!!!

it's really only God who knows truly your heart and intentions, not us.

Religion promotes an us-vs.-them mentality that is unhealthy and uncivilized.
Anti-homosexual and racist ideas have been backed by scripture (many people trying to spread ideas or ideology use religion to gain support) and no one questions it in fear of going to Hell.
People don't think. Christianity as a religion is loving. I don't mind the religion itself, I mind its effects on society and the people in it.

May I remind you that born again Christians like myself have the same 'righteous' hatred that God has toward those that choose sin and wickedness and immorality over God's word. God even hated and used the word 'hate' in His word. Despite what the world believes, God does NOT love everyone - only those whom He has chosen as His 'elect'. Romans 9:13 - As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

I am not a racist against any nationality, race, origin, etc. I'm against what the world deems as 'ok' and acceptable contrary to God's word - that's all. Many people can call themselves 'Christian', but to live it is another thing. People may say they're Christian, yet they'll still accept homosexuality as being okay and will say there's nothing wrong with it. Those same people will say that God loves them, but that is certainly far from the truth. In Romans 1, God mentions homosexuality and the grossness of it - and also mentions that those that practice such immorality as well as idolators, adulterers, etc. will face God in judgment - that's all. There is a difference between having a hatred toward sin and those that take pleasure in sin over God's word and merely hating someone because of their skin color, nationality, etc. - huge difference. It's called a 'spiritual hatred' because true Christians like myself hate sin. I'm not saying I'm perfect - I sin like everyone else, born with a sinful nature like everyone else. After I was saved by God's grace, my sins - past, present and future are forgiven because I have a new life in Christ, but still suffer from the remnants of sin - that's the difference. Christ changed my heart and mind, so I have that spiritual right to 'hate', but that hate is directed at those that wish to take pleasure in their sin instead of turning to God for forgiveness and turning to Christ for salvation - that's all. I'm not a racist or a bigot. God doesn't teach us to hate people because of race or nationality, etc.

Do not blame God or the Bible or Christ's plan for the failure of the church.

God is gonna judge the church 1st!

1Pt:4:17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

That's a bold claim!
Do you realize that there are 2,000,000,000 Christians on earth? If the entire United States were Christian, they would still only make up some 10% of the Christian population. It seems a little presumptuous to malign such a large group based on the relatively tiny fraction of the population that you have encountered.

Well you sure sound like you could use a hug. Is it heavy...that chip you have on your shoulder? Actually I am not racist, nor do I claim to hate anyone. There are many who tweak me ever now and again but I refuse to stay angry with any of them as I don't rent out space in my heart to anyone who doesn't deserve it.
