Not at all. Religion is just what men think God should fit into, like their own personal cage or team. As far as death, only a fool doesn't understand the 100% guarentee that we die. What is there to accept except the gift of Jesus.

The purpose of the teachings of Baha'u'llah is to create a planetary civilization based on justice and and prosperity for all and to bring into being a new race of men. I don't think much about death/life after death, as I am focused on breathing new life into the world and bringing about the unity of humanity through the realization of the oneness of humanity and all that implies. Such a honorable task and privilege is breathtakingly life-affirming and sets my soul, my whole being ablaze.

No, religion is for those who deal with the reason for its existence and the only way out of it. I would also ask by what authority do you say that "Once you die there is no more"?

component taken, yet you're basing your assertion on a pretend assumption. worry is a typical human reaction, many times revealing what's considerable to us. What faith exposes interior of us many times reasons worry, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is not used as a gadget or low priced shot. it is likewise no longer used as a barrier to questions or searching for previous our information. If something, it would inspire our searching for much greater expertise with regards to the area. to confirm, there are some people who use worry as a gadget to control others, yet to think of that a faith "makes use of" worry is an incorrect assumption. the belief of an all effectual God might properly be apprehensive, yet that does no longer recommend that God or the religions we'd desire to lead us to Him use worry or are of no actual substance. To the guy under who thinks that is all approximately worry and rewards... it is not. that is approximately having a loving relationship with the dwelling God. Love ought to be the top motivation that stops us from offending and doing incorrect in direction of yet another, no longer the phobia of punishment.

I can't answer for religions.
I can only answer for my self.
No, it is not just an excuse to me. Because I know that,no matter what we do or do not have faith in, (and you are entitled to your opinion on that), we are all still going to die. I can except that. But it is still a comfort and not an excuse to know that there is a Heaven.
That is kind of a broad opinion to make. I hope that you don't really believe that of all people of faith.

there are many religions and many views of death. Most religions embrace death and the afterlife as part of thier teachings, so actually it is for those who are finding a way to cope with death - not avoid it.

I believe Jesus is real because I have experienced God's presence, miracles, seen angels and tested God's word:

You can prove God's Word in 3 ways::

1. Do the word in doctrine and witness truth in your life-

John 7:16-17:
"...'My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.' "

2. The Holy Spirit will bear witness of Christ (Jesus is the Word of God - John chapter 1)-

John 15:26:
" 'When the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me.' "

3. Confirming signs-

Mark 16:20:
"And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the Word by the signs that followed."
