global thermal nuclear war. The EMP bursts would take out most of their capabilities. Or we could get them into a war with india, they both have massive overpopulations.
Though I start in jest the only real success american politicians have had with china is when america makes it clear it won't put up with china's crap. It's amazing how many otherwise rational adults become apologetic idiots trying to avoid "hurting the feelings of the chinese people". As if the average chinese person knows what's going on in their censored world. If china gets too uppity we could always remind them of the "boxer rebellion" and just how easy it is to do that to them again.
