guys-
if you found out for sure a girl liked you for awhile, and weren't particularly interested, and if after you found out she started ignoring you and not really showing interest would it catch your attention? Also, would it make you more interested?
I know this sounds silly, I was just wondering because the other day my friend was telling me how she had a mad crush on this geekier guy who never had pretty girls like him like she was, and he pretty much rejected her. But once she started ignoring him his attention was caught.

I'm sorry. I know this was for guys only but it caught my attention.
And I actually have done that before.
I liked this guy, but after a few weeks I only liked him as a friend and nothing more. That caught his attention a bit. And after a few months I saw him ignoring me, well sorta and so that caught my attention and out of nowhere I started liking him. and well I won't get into the rest b/c it's not a pleasant ending.
From my experiences I think it's more b/c you had someone that liked you and it never actually hit you yet and so when they ignored you, you realize you don't have that person that likes you so you just start liking them. I can't explain it. But that's a girls opinion.

Yes, It happens with a lot, even though i (most of the time) know why they're doing it it gets annoying, since you feel bad for them and you start asking yourself this question, Why is she doing this? Or, What did I do wrong? And it doesn't stop there, some girls just get annoying with it and they literally have the thumb on the situation.

Once a girl decides to start ignoring the guy, he notices. He begins to question what he could have possibly done wrong to make you start ignoring him. These thoughts keep you in his mind.

If I didn't pay attention in the first place, I won't pay attention now. If she was my friend, it would piss the hell outta me and I probably wouldn't talk to her anymore.
