They are all correct, with one exception. Vitamins will make your urine darker. I am a vitamin freak . there is a book dead doctors don't lie. Most doctors don't believe in vitamins. They think it gives you expensive urine. The flip side is they average life span of a doctor is 55 to 59.

The bodies glue prevent aneurysms . Copper and vitamin c. The study of vitamins is awesome. but doctors really don't.

It all depends on why urine is dark.

I think that light almost clear pee would be healthier but when it comes out dark yellow I think it means it's cleaning out your body in case you drank a lot of soda. The person that would probably give you the best answer would be a doctor. Don't worry, I have peed both color before! LOL!

Clear. It shows you are drinking the right amount of water. It is healthier. Pee, should not be dark yellow.

Your pee should look light yellow almost clear. This only happens when you drink a lot of water which is good for you. You notice if you don't drink water, your pee is dark and cloudy.

The lighter the healthier. I have read all the posts before I posted this. And for all of you who have never talked to a doctor, shame on yourselves for not giving completely accurate information.
Dark urine is a sign of not enough fluid intake, but can also be symptoms to other illnesses. If you are drinking plenty of water, and your urine is still dark, go see a doctor. If you increase the amount of water you drink and your urine turns to a lighter color, you are fine.
I know that most people try to give the best possible informaiton, but I feel that YOU should know that if dark urine is a problem that repeats itself no matter your fluid intake, you need to talk to your doctor.
And you may say to yourself, I can't talk to my doc about that. But it is better to be safe than sorry. And you won't be the only person to ever ask a doctor about this

Lighter is better. When I was younger I never drank water and ended up getting a kidney infection and I lost half of one of my kidneys. My pee was dark yellow and cloudy then. Now, I drink about 4 to 5 16.9 fl.oz water bottles a day & its light now! =)

Almost clear. If it's almost clear that means your drinking enough water. The darker the color the more deprived your body is of water.

You want your pee to be light or clear. That means that you're adequately hydrated. Think...Piss Clear
