i uploaded a CD from my own collection into iTunes and it uploaded fine but i want to get the album artwork for it from the iTunes store and it wont let me, is that possible? if yes how?

go on google images and type the band and name of the CD. click on the picture until it gives you a good sized one. then right click and select copy. then go to your itunes, select the song and right click the song. then go to Get Info, and click Artwork tab. then right click paste, and the pic should show up.

as long as you have an account with itunes, it should let you. if you haven't set up an account it will give you an error message.
itunes will load artowrk for the entire librabry and does it in the background so it might be doing it and you don't know.
select advanced, get album artwork
do this as you open itunes and iwth nothing playing and you'll see its progress in the display (or click the little arrow if playing to change the display)
the other thing is if the title isn't matching the itunes database, it may not find it. you can paste images into the empty artwork space on the screen too. and you don't need to buy it on itunes to get artwork

since it was not bought out of itunes they would be able to find it but you can easily go to a website like samgoodys and copy the artwork (hope this helps)

try the advanced option and getting the artwork that way. or view and select album view.

all you do is right click on the song, so then click on "get album artwork", wait, then you're done
