Take the screw driver ,place the blade right next to the rim of the can.Make sure you hold the can and give the screwdriver a good smack. Once you penetrate the can , continue by taking smaller sections of the cover. Eventually you will go all around the can and with your scissors pry up the lid.

I don't really want to recommend this as it is very dangerous, but 2 Thanksgivings ago, my electric one died, the manual one wouldn't work, no stores open at the time, no neighbors at home, so I stabbed the top near the edge with a sharp knife and kind of wiggled the knife along the cut and made it go most of the way around until I could open the tops - it was a miracle I didn't cut myself! So be really careful

You obviously haven't done much camping. You can use just about anything that is sharp and move it by punctures around the top of the can....it just takes longer.

You can use a bottle opener...the pointed triangle kind...just move it by punctures around, but be careful of the can edges.

A screwdriver would probably work...put the can on something level and steady so it won't move around and then open it around the edge one puncture at a time...could maybe use a hammer if you have one on top to make it easier.

It is harder, but it can be done. Not a knife, though because you would break a thinner blade.

those bottle openers (with the sharpish end) they can be used to poke holes in the top of the can...you need to poke 2 holes (one on each side of the lid) to get the contents to poor out quickly.

But if all you have is a screwdriver I guess you could try and stab the top really hard if you wanted...but idk....you can't get to the store?

split the can open with a hammer and the screwdriver. Or throw the can against the driveway and see what happens. Or just go next door and borrow a can opener! ;-)

Do you have a neighbor you can borrow a can opener from? You could puncture your way through the can with a screw driver. I am not sure if you are trying to get liquid out or something solid. If it's solid, it will take you awhile. I use to use a screw driver to puncture and open up tomato and other fruit juice.
