I mean, it started out as one man, then was passed on to twelve others, and has slowly evolved over the years to now include several major divisions (catholic, protestant) and several thousand, if not hundred thousand sub divisions, such as the 500 and some odd sects of Baptists. It's even grown to the point where its incorporated some traditionally pagan holidays as its own (christmas for example)
Just food for thought...

While it does not say an exact date in the Bible, There are several logical arguments for Christmas being the day that it is. The Magi who traveled to meet him must have traveled all season to reach the newborn Christ, where Mary and Joseph were forced to take shelter in a stable (it must have been cold)
Plus the fact that Christians have been celebrating the same day since the beginning makes it a fait accompli. (it's already decided)
Because pagan festivals may inconsequentially be similar, the Nativity is one of the few Christian values that is very much unanimous in the western world
