Yes. Only three dimensional and shades of gray.

Did some research - apparently they are red-green color blind: http://www.uwsp.edu/psych/dog/LA/DrP4.htm

Still sure they can only see three dimensional objects.

my dog ran into the woods at 11 at night and came back with a ball he lost a month earlier. he was chasing a rabbit at the time. he also hears deer in the woods and chases them at full speed. i dont know how he doesnt hit the small trees and logs and bushes. but i know he aint smelling a bush and going around it.

I've heard that also, but until you can actually look through a dog's eyes, I don't think anyone will every be able to answer this question.

Their most dominant sense is smell so they probably don't need sight all that much anyway.

i think not they can still see other shades of colours only not as good as ours

nope they can see shades of blue and green as well..im not 100% sure about other colors in the spectrum, but i know blue and green for sure
