it depends what it's about. if it's something mean, it could lead to low self esteem for the child.

Feral children are raised without humans and they don't adapt to social life well at all. Young parents are inexperienced but seem to be the best for reproduction . Survival of the new person is dependent on may things. The very complex nature of the human brain results in depression and further complications as the new person reaches post puberty and deals with cultural problems. I hope I covered teasing. I think a parent that is never home is less likely to tease the child and I think tickling is all bad.

Yes and No. It really depends on the relationship w/ the child. If the child is comfortable w/ the parent and has a good relationship w/ them, it's okay. But if there's issues and anger b/t them then no.

That is a value judgment which cannot be made with sweeping generalities. Setting boundaries for any relationship is done by those with in it unless crimes (Physical or emotional abuse) is occurring. I fondly remember my uncle who good naturally teased me as a child. Your statement makes the issue black and white-yes or no without exceptions.

As TEASING is one manner of showing affection,
a little of it is certainly OK.
Teasing and Joking are about the only way my brother and I communicate.
The only caution is to monitor the irritation level in the recipient. Teasing is not meant to be a source of irritation or to cause discomfort.

Most of the time it's not okay especially when it's consistent. Even if it's only once if it's an area they know will hurt alot then it's still not good. but no one's perfect so for whatever reason if they do once in a while it's okay. Consistently is never okay.
