Sadly, I think most think they do. I'm very spiritual, but I also know a little more about the history of the various versions of the bible to know that they've been changed and edited thousands of times by various people at various time. Do a search on textual analysis and you'll see a glimpse of what I'm talking about.
If they actually did (and read it all...), then they'd still be burning 'witches' at the stake and killing our their children for believing in santa clause, or have multiple wives...

Wow, judge much lately?
Understand that Christians aren't some giant, homogenous group, in agreement about every detail (that's why there are so many different sects of Christianity). So "Christians" as a (very large) group, only share a few common beliefs, for example, that Jesus is the son of God and offers redemption from sin.
Some sects are fundamentalist and believe that every single word of the Bible is literally true. Others believe that some parts of the Bible are stories meant to teach certain lessons about how life should be lived. Still others believe that some parts are literally true while others are metaphorical. Yet others believe that the whole book is literally true - but open to interpretation.
Understand there is also a personal component to all religion - how you put what you believe into practice. All religion can vary from its scripture where the rubber meets the road.

in accordance to Christianity Christ is the founder upon whom the apostles (which includes Paul) geared up what all of us comprehend to be Christianity. In broadest words. Christianity in its extermal varieties is amazingly versatile. There at the instant are not any instructions on the subject of the character of worship, even issues approximately management are imprecise at maximum suitable. there is little approximately business enterprise or polity. curiously that the 1st church homes added the training of Christ and the apostles into their lifestyle. I have not any subject with that occuring in the present day. Your alleged discrepency is replied with an elementary google seek. And what alleged discrepencies illustrate maximum is that there have been not redactors. by way of fact if there have been they could have executed a greater job cleansing this up so which you does not even have the prospect to ask the question. in short devil is a champion of taking what God says and twisting it. study Gen. 3 the place it rather is meant to have took place for the 1st time. not one of the gospel money owed are all enclusive. So there's no reason of Mary, Joseph and Jesus to leave Bethlehem after a year, circulate to Egypt and then return. real adequate the Lord's prayer even has some textual themes, would be unable to deny that, yet fairly distinctive phraseology is hardly floor shaking. needless to say you have in no way talked to distinctive distinctive people on the subject of the comparable journey. I actual have had to try this normally in my profession and you comprehend what I actual have chanced on. that once memories are precisely alike there has been a touch collaboration between witnesses. a real even is defined from distinctive attitude and hardly if ever are expenditures same.

If you ask a question, why would you say we couldn't post an obvious answer? Isn't that kind of unfair? Of course they (I) do, or they should. Sometimes I get a little confused, then I do some research and may faith in the bible is confirmed. It always works out because IT'S TRUE!!

you expect honesty, and that's what i am going to give you...i am a Christian (Pentecostal Apostolic)....when someone like u asks Christians, do u believe every word the Bible says, the automatic answer is yes....but actions speak louder than words.....there's a lot of things the Bible says for us to do to make it into Heaven...but a lot of us Christians are not obeying those things, and the world can see it in our every day lives.....if a lot of us believe every word and take it to heart, we'd be living exactly by the Word Of God........for me yes, God said it, I believe it....
God Bless You

I believe the bible word for word. It is God's word. God's word is truth, therefore who am I to not believe his word. Don't get me wrong I question, I question lots of things which are not in the bible or directly written about. But if it is in black and white and it adorns the bibles pages, you bet I am going to believe it.

Is that a threat?! Why are you getting so worked up, my friend? I don't think you're ready for some honest answers. You need to lower yourself a bit and ask in humility, and then maybe you are ready to hear the truth.

I pray to GOd, to reveal to me what is right and what is wrong. Since humans did write it. Everyone should pray to GOd about what is written. The Holy Spirit reveals the truth to me.
Alot of it I do believe is true. And I do obey GOd's word.
