No i would never..i neither support iran's ambition of being a nuclear superpower, nor America's or rather the Bush administration's never-ending thirst for waging Wars in the middle east..Besides, i live in the uae, which lies across the Arabian Gulf, opposite to Iran, and an american invasion would mean leaving this beautiful and peaceful country that i call home..The iraqi invasion had done that to those in kuwait..i can't even think of living elsewhere..

Not an invasion, but military action against nuclear targets in Iran Yes. An invasion requires troops on the ground and we can't afford that right now. Using our aircraft and cruise missiles is most likely to take place for a tactical offense against 'nuclear' facilities in Iran.

One must consider that Iran wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth, that they hate America and a good portion of europe as well. Iran supports terrorism --is active in IRAQ right now. If Iran is allowed nuclear technology--they do not need a nuclear weapons program to be a very grave threat to the world. They simply need the nuclear material. Powder plutonium--powdered U-238--powdered thorium. A pound released as a dust in a major city like Berlin, or London, or New York will make the exposed portions of the city uninhabitable for perhaps a century or two. all of these folks who have the Nasty things to say about those who understand this--will your position change if you had to watch your spouse or child bleeding from the gums, hair falling out, organs shutting down--due to radiation posioning from a dirty bomb? We simply can not take the chance that Iran will develop nuclear technology.

As a British citizen I wouldnt help an American lead invasion of Iran, only like i didnt help invading Afganistan and Iraq. could the British government help such an act, nicely that relies upon on whether a lapdog nonetheless works at No. 10 or whether he has been replaced via somebody with a backbone who isnt afraid to tell the present American president hes a pair of million/billion/trillion cells in need of a suggestions! I dont think of that Iran is of undertaking to united statesa.. And definite you do have a call. The final time i checked united statesa. substitute right into a loose united states of america and hence you do not ought to invade yet another united states of america so as to safeguard your freedom. people (nicely every person) who think of that their very own freedoms may be secured via depriving others of theirs make me ill. in case you think of that it rather is the two a 'with us or against us' selection then i'm maximum certainly against you till you comprehend that united statesa. does not have the potential to dictate to something of the worldwide they way people ought to stay. additionally, I cant stand the hyprocrisy spouted via people who purely began to furnish a rattling approximately terrorism/terrorists while a set of Islamic EXTREMISTS desperate to fly planes into homes on American soil. i contemplate whether the reaction to 9/11 (or greater accurately 11/9) could have been extremely so extreme if pronounced Islamic extremists had targetted the different united states of america, i very lots doubt it. What you cant have faith is that somebody had the audacity to objective united statesa. on American soil and you at the instant are performing like infants in the playgroup. you need to instruct something of the infants that your toys (weapons) are greater beneficial than the different young ones. Oh and American wont invade Iran as in assessment to Iraq and Afganistan they have the militia might to deliver a hundred,000s of physique bags back to united statesa. and im advantageous American mothers/fathers wont % to work out maximum of of their little infants coming homestead in that way editted: Sarah C - Which surprising spark desperate that Islamic extremists are the only terrorists around? yet another occasion of Americas hyprocrisy is its persevering with help of the TERRORIST STATE OF ISREAL!!!!!

If and only if it were the only way to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, and then only on the condition the civilian leadership stays the hell out of the way and lets the Generals and admirals do what has to be done.

If we attack Iran we can ill afford to pull a Rumsfield.

No, it would cause a massive destabilization in the region and we don't have the troops to accomplish such a task. In addition they have strong ties to china which holds the majority of our debt load. The subsequent backlash would break the back of the US economy and likely cause a massive recession or possibly even a depression. This would be due to the subsequent collapse of the dollar and resulting hyper inflation coupled with a severe disruption in the worlds oil supply.
