I'm a boy, and I live with this girl who is one year older than me, we are from the same country originally, but I came here for 7 years, and am a canadian citizen, but she is not.
That's not the problem though, just some back ground info for you readers and helpers out there.

I feel so nervous in her presence for some reason, (for ppl with roommate experience to answer this)
I am a nice guy: I am also too sensitive, overthink alot.
In the beginning, things were alright, we share things, cook meals for each other every weekend, but we don't talk, and I mean literally no conversation. I used to be kind to her by washing her dishes for her, taking out the garbage, watch her back, but she just takes advantage of that! Which makes me mad!
Here is my problem though: I like to impose rules on her, like lock the door after you leave (we live in an apartment), close the window before you go: in case of rain, put the dishes back to where they belong, just to make life more organized.

Regardless who is right or wrong, I think it's time you found another roommate. If you are not talking to one another that makes for a downer home life. Home should be the place you come to in order to get away from all the crap the world dishes out; Not a place where you feel uncomfortable.
Your rules don't sound unreasonable but using the word "rules" always carries that negative stigma.
I can say from experience that things will probably not get better..., they will probably get worse.
Find someone who appreciates and wants to share your friendship. Home is what you make it. Don't let someone else make it something else!

I WOULD SIT DOWN AND TALK TO HER! TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL AND SEE IF YOU CAN COME UP WITH A SOLUTION...DON'T AT ALL FEEL INTIMIDATED BY HER OR LET HER MAKE YOU FEEL WEIRD IN ANY KIND OF WAY....THE THINGS YOU LISTED ARE JUST COMMON COURTESY AND RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER. TRY COMMUNICATING WITH HER @ FIRST. TRY TO GET TOGETHER @ LEAST ONCE A WEEK AND TALK ABOUT WHAT IT IS THAT BOTHERS YOU, WHAT CAN BE CHANGED. IF ALL FAILS, THEN SORRY BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST SET IN THEIR WAYS AND IT WON'T CHANGE, THAT'S WHEN YOU EITHER KEEP PUTTING UP WITH IT OR YOU SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND FIND SOME WHERE ELSE TO STAY!

Sounds to me that you're heading for a breakup real soon. Do you have your butt covered on the lease with her?
She sounds like a user but then again you "LIKE" to impose rules on her?
Your apt. rules are for the both of you.
She'll do as much as you allow her to do.
When you get serious about it, she'll look for another place to live.
I wouldn't want to live with someone who can't deal with a 50/50 deal...Start looking for a new roomate and cover yourself.
