My dog does this a lot. I always assumed it was because she is a good toe warmer! But really, it's more of an attention thing. Like puppies bite at your toes when they want attention, or to play. It's an easy place for them to reach, and without to much effort they get your attention. It got you thinking didn't it?

When dogs bond with you, I believe it's a sense of , "If I lay on her feet, I'll know when she's getting up!"

My dog does that, and she follows me around everywhere.

It's sweet.

LOL!! Interesting, I thought it was because my dog is a boxer and when she sits there is room for a foot under her so she takes advantage of it... she is so CUTE.
