There are many Buddhists & Hindus who say that God is all of us. That is why they great one another by saying, "The divine that is within me pays homage to the divine that is within you."

I'd be completely out of solutions for so many problems in life. I'm definitely not God-material, so if God was one of us, as in like me, you'd also be out of luck. This is why I am so glad God is so much more than any of us. I'd far rather worship a God who made me in his image than try to worship a God in my image - what a lousy God that would be.

Well, in my religious tradition, he kind of is, because He is everywhere and everything arises out of God and so is a very small piece of Him. God is in every particle, atom, molecule of all that is, so He is in me, you, everyone, everything, so in that sense, He is one of us, and all of us. Perhaps that is why evil is, ultimately, so hollow and unsatisfying and insane - it involves cutting oneself off from the rest of what we were all born to be part of, from our source and existence.

Just a slob like one of us just a stranger one of us trying to make his way home. Now you got it stuck in my head. God would be disappointed in your choice of questions which are obviously meant solely to annoy the rest of us with the lamest song EVER written, sung, or even thought of!!!
