It's a tough one. Because once attacked to begin with, if we pull out and leave it to it's own devices things will fall apart even worse.

But yes, we should get out now, and never should have went in. Us being there freed up the US to go to Iraq too, so it is two wrongs in one. The way I see it, the US wanted to go to both places, I didn't. So let them handle the full brunt of the load. Then maybe they will think twice in similar decisions in the future. NOT that Americans even know that we are there to begin with.

I agree, Canadian troops are needed to save lives in Peacekeeping Missions decided by UN where we have a vote, instead of oil related places the US dictates invading.

Putting troops in Darfur to stop the genocide while the government itself enables it is like fighting a gas fire without shutting off the gas. In the spirit of triage, one can only do so much with limited resources and should direct one's efforts toward the effort most likely to produce results. The Middle East won't explode in chaos whatever happens in Darfur, but may well do so in Afghanistan and Iraq.

No, the troops stay where they are.
How about some other countries step up for these other locations - which should have been dealt with long ago!
